question about how many valves i need....

i want to go front to back, NO side to side..
suicide doors has a diagram that shows 2 valves for the back, and 4 upfront.
why?
why do i need 4 in the front? (is my question)
why cant i just use 2 up front?

heres a pic of thier diagram

Re: question about how many valves i need....

4 up front because it's not safe to only run one set of valves for the whole front. it's too much air transfer from bag to bag. personally i would run 8 this way you get less body roll from air transfer.

just because you don't want side to side doesn't mean you can't run 8. it's how you wire it.

top left- rear up/down
top right- front r up/down
bot left- front up/down
bot r- front l up/down

Re: question about how many valves i need....

for a mini its fine to run 4 valves but like diesel said, too much air transfer between bags causing too much body roll in a full sze. i have seen a write up that showed them using check valves to help with this problem but id just run 8 valves.

I don't go side to side either, but I do tend to have to add a little or take a little out of a corner from time to time.

I run a 7 switch box. I have a switch for front/all/rear + one for each bag.

Re: question about how many valves i need....

I'm surprised that ***************** still has that drawing on their site... I made that for Jason eons ago. Anyway, you could get away with just 2 valves for the front if you run a good sway bar and good shocks. But I always like having control over the way the front end looks, especially with all the weight up there.
