Anyone have GM350 crate reviews?

Who put'em in and have anything good/bad to say about them??
Maybe an actual MPG with your set-up??

Lookin at either the 260HP or the 290HP

What tranny and rear-end are you putting on? That alone can make the difference between 10 MPG and 20 MPG...

Re: Anyone have GM350 crate reviews?

I have a crate 350 part number 10067353 from Summitracing.com. It has been in the truck for about a year. I'm happy with it so far. I haven't checked gas mileage.

I have one in mine... I don't have any complaints. I checked MPG a year ago... and was getting around 17MPG. Just depends on your set up... I have the 700R4 tranny as well.

I have a 350 H.O in mine. It is hooked up to a TH350. i've had it for about 3 years. It works well. 9 MPG. Good thing I only live 2 miles from work.

Re: Anyone have GM350 crate reviews?

Got 2

1 - just pulled from a 79 K20, been in there 8 years and was running great when pulled. (Donated the truck to the boys' shop class)

1 - 60K on it in my 80 K10. Good compression all around. Plugs are nice and average 15 mpg (once I got the carb re-jetted).

They're worth it unless ya want to rebuild - which costs about the same, in the end.
