These look like they would fit our trucks good. Does anybody know how much difference the frames are on the 73-84 compared to 67-72???. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...QQcmdZViewItem

white performance is really good about answering questions and have supplied a lot of parts to boad members from what i hear. i'd send them a message through ebay and see what their response is. <24h response on a question i had previously. anyway... ttt

If I recall, there isn't enough clearance on the motor mount on the driver side. I could be wrong though. I have been looking at mid length, so those might work.

I saw where byrd bought a nice set of 88-95 shorties but he had to grind a little off the frame rail on the driver side because that header sticks out away from the motor. These full length 73-84 style look fairly close to the motor. It would be nice if somebody here had both styles of trucks to compare the clearances. I emailed the seller and am waiting to hear back.

The headers he bought are the ones I am going with. White Performance have been great. I've bought a few things from them and they have been very helpful.

The frames are different on the 73 on up, the headers won't fit on the drivers side on our years.

Now rocking 383, NV4500, power steering, power brakes. Finally undergoing restoration.
