Carpet

Hey Everyone,

Who as experience with the carpet that is available? I have checked a couple of sites and the prices seem to be all over the place. Is there a difference between vendors? My tank is under the bed, and I would like cover the area where the tank was in carpet as well as the kick panels. Do I need to buy 2 carpet kits or can anyone else share an idea on what you did?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Carpet

I had the carpet done in a '72 I did about 11 years ago and the guy who did the carpet came to my house and rolled out a roll of carpet and laid it in, cut it to fit and even put the pad on the drivres floor in. Fit and looked great, I if I remember it only cost me $75.00. He even covered my door panels and put in a headliner, all for less that $200.00, sure wish I could remember who he was........ Sorry I didn't answer your question, I guess I have the same question.

Re: Carpet

Rod Doors has carpet kits with extra carpet attached for trucks with the gas tank removed. Their website doesn't mention it, but I have their catalog and it's in there.
