Is there no love for the new 07 Chevy/GMC SWB reg Cab trucks?

I went to the Chevy site and only find one photo of the work truck variant and it's and arial shot. Even when I got to "Build You Own" and choose a reg cab, a crew cab is pictured. Plus I haven't even seen any on the road.

Is it a dying breed?

My guess is just becasue they are still new, they are just using a simple stock photo, for all models

Re: Is there no love for the new 07 Chevy/GMC SWB reg Cab trucks?

straight from Chevy's website:

The truck you show is a LWB, this is a SWB.

I have seen a few trucks rolling around. All crew cab and ex cab. Remember, GM had A LOT of 07 classic trucks on the lots still when the "new" ones came out. You can still get '07 classics brand new much cheaper than the new one. Give it about 6 months and you'll see a lot of em.

1LoC10...that's a nice chop there...even with the Viper-style wheels. The guy's at FullSizeChevy.com would go ape over that one.

^I just noticed the photoshop uses the crew cab shortbox bed. That would be a real short truck!

Re: Is there no love for the new 07 Chevy/GMC SWB reg Cab trucks?

I saw two today, a black crew cab and a white extended cab. They're starting to pop up. I had initially read the regular cabs wouldn't be released until june '07, but I think they are in production now?
