'68 Panel Project....

I recently stumbled across this site sorta by accident and like what I see so, thought I better register. Great to see an active board for panels. Decided to get off my tail and pull my 68 in the barn for the winter and one thing led to another...... Not sure what all I going to do yet but, now I that I finally got started, I have to do something. It's pretty solid with a little rust here and there. Hope to complete by spring. Just freshening up the motor - '71 402.
Pics not great...update later. Thanks for the site....Ironhead Mike

Re: '68 Panel Project....

Welcome from another owner of a '68 Panel! Always good to see another one still kickin' around. I like those mirrors-what are they off of? We need more pictures!

Re: '68 Panel Project....

Thanks for the welcome. Yes there are a few here and there. As a matter of fact I stopped by a garage near Corning, NY today to try to get a guy to sell me another '68 in about the same condition as this one....of coarse he wouldn't let it go....The mirrors are just a universal fit I picked up at advance auto just to get it inspected....I was itching to take it out for a ride.....
