late model beds/tailgates
Will any late model tailgates go on my 71 LWB fleetside?
Will any late model beds fit on and look right?

upto 72 will fit, other beds will fit but dont look right IMO,but a late model step box is better than the early step box, best looking one in my opinion is 67-72 Fleet

Some think the '88 and up step looks good, but it just looks better than nothing IMO.
The '73 - 87 step side looks ok, mainly it would work untill you found the right fenders, being that the bed box itself is the same from 2nd series '55 up till '87.
