Newbie From Washington
Howdy all, My name is Jim and I just found this forum while seeking information on a classic 51 chevy 1 1/2 T 4400 series I bought from an area school district through an online auction.
From a GM family all my life and have had a few 69 - 72's Dreamed of owning a Blazer (when a blazer was a blazer) back in high school, and Dad bought a basic model in 72. I bought my first in 76, (both '72s) second in 81, and ended up with dad's when he passed on. they are all gone now but I have a 72 custom K/20 I installed a '69 427 in back in 1991 after the 350 went south, A'69 C20 396/TH 400 Camper special that my girlfriends father bought brand new. Lets not forget the other big block 69, and the other '69 K20 in the yard. I was looking to see what the '51 was worth, and/or what parts are avalable and so on when I found this site.
