tranny shifting Q

this is refering to automatics ofcourse, but does it hurt or is it bad for the tranny if you shift it manualy???

upshifting manually is ok but down shifting is hard on the band on t350s, and really hard on the overrun clutches on 700s. Just watch how much braking the tranny does when downshifting.

while it doesn't directly damage anything... it'sll wear it out sooner if you drive it like a stick all the time.
Do the heel toe thing when ever you down shift it.... kinda blip the throttle a split second before it goes into the lower gear.
