Re: Tailgate
NEWSFLASH....
We do not use cheap parts on our trucks... We use economical parts. Just a little humor.

Re: Tailgate
For what it's worth, i purchased a goodmark tailgate a few years ago. Today (my paint/body is taking a while) i pulled it off infavor of an original gate. The goodmark didn't fit well at all.

Re: Tailgate
Some of the flat gates... the ones with no lettering... they are flimsy. I'm talkin a 200 pound man sits on the gate in the open position, and it bends.

Your support will be greatly appreciated - stay away from the repro's unless you are going to show only. I bought one and put on my last 71 I built and my daughter and her freinds sat on the gate and bent it at the supports!!! My daughter was 6 years old at the time - and her buddys were the same - so it couldn't have been that heavy!! The worst part was they did it at a show on the first day!!! - I showed the truck without a gate. Let me know, Thanx Cypress
