Electrical problem: short
My friend's '68 Custom with a gauge cluster has a short somehwere in the cluster lights circuit (fuse blows for the cluster lights, but not exterior lights). He says it's been that way for a long time so I don't know if any "custom" wiring jobs caused it or not. But before I get in there and try to blindly hunt it down, I'm wondering if there is one or a few places in particular that are notorious for causing shorts in that circuit. Thnx in advance.

Pull the int panel, and look for the copper lines on the circit board, I'll bet there are a couple touching that shouldn't be.
