AM Radio parts?
I've got this old AM radio for my truck. I don't know if it works but that doesn't matter as I only want the "look" of this unit and will be putting a later unit in the glove compartment. My question is this, the face is a little pitted, does anyone know if a replacement is available? I searched around but only found parts for AM/FM.

Re: AM Radio parts?
I don't think anybody is repoping those and I don't think anybody ever will. The AM radio is everywhere until you need one. I recently sold one for $10 at the local swap meet and the buyer later bought 6 of them for $10 from another seller. Your best bet is either the board or junkyard. Expect to pay anywhere from $5 to $20 depending on condition. I have a face only but it also has a few pits.
After looking at your picture again I would say mine better but it still has a few pits. See what you come up with and let me know. Thanks - Bob Look at the post by Mt Man Chad. My face is equal to that - Bob
