Q-jet ported vacuum?

Where is the ported vacuum on a quadrajet?
Is it the port on the right side or the port on the front left side?

Thanks,

Denny

Re: Q-jet ported vacuum?

Trying to remember what the ports on the quadrajet look like... I'm more used to edelbrocks. In any case, the ported or timed vacuum should be higher up on the carb, and the full vacuum port will be lower.

Re: Q-jet ported vacuum?

Just going by memory, since I can't presently get out to my truck,The ported vac. (for the dist.advance) is in the front. The one on the right,at least on mine ,controls the choke pull-off mechanism.
