glovebox wont open

well it does but you have to push the button and pull it down by grabing the sides at the same time, is this normal or is it suposed to just open pushing the button and if so how do i get it to do that???

loosen up screws on the hinge mount and adjust for proper operation

Mine did the same thing. There is a spring wire that runs thru the hinge. Take off the glove box door at the opening, not the door and rotate the end of the spring so that it rests on the bottom opening lip. This will put pressure on the door to open when you push the button. If you need pics, let me know and I can take some at lunch.

I just throw stuff on the seat and floor.I put gloves on the hump under the heater.I`m too lazy to reach over there anyway.That`s prolly why so much original documents are always found in the glovebox.It`s a place seldom seen.What do you think that ledge on the dash is for anyway?
I`m just messin`with you(yet being honest).Good luck with the adjustment/tightening of the screws.
