Local Manitoba 67-72 truck wanted

I need another truck. Anyone got a decent one around the Winnipeg area for sale. Email me some details. Prefer it with a valid safety inspection so I can drive it right away.

I need a driver, something decent. I was through Bismark in early August but just passed through. Did not get to look at much but I did talk to a guy with a Blazer at a Gas Bar. Gave him the web site info but dont know if he made it to the boards yet.

This 68 is sitting near Dickinson ND. I looked at it briefly. Looked pretty solid/original. He's asking $3K US. I bet he'd deal.

Same seller as the 68 above. I have not seen this 72 4X4. He's asking $2.5K US.

You can see his site at www.coololdtruck.com

If my 72 was all in 1 piece I would consider selling it to you Rod. But that's a wee bit of a drive to get from your area to here.

Just some info on it.

It's very dependable and I have used it as a daily driver for almost 5 years with no problems at all. It has a 250 inline 6 with 3 speed column shift. It doesn't have a safety on it, but I don't think it would require a lot, after the rocker panel and cab corners are replaced. If you might be interested, let me know.

I looked at something today... and it was something, it was a 72 Blazer chassis with a 68 GMC front clip and cab. Had a van tilt , factory 72 buckets, factory tach, 1970 diffs, and the blazer bed was made into a truck bed thats extra short becuase it fits on the frame. Vin number was 69 1/2 ton 4x4 GMC. It ran decent looked not too bad , he wanted 6 thousand Canadian, thats about $6000 canadian , thats 3900 US. I think thats too much for something made of that many different vehicles. Some kid will buy it come winter for sure. Still looking.

Rod - Take a look at this one. You had previously replied to me when I posted it for sale before. Under $10K(US) Unfortunately, it's a 4 speed. Cost $15K to do the frame off so I thought you might consider it worth doing a tranny swap. Located in Fargo, ND. Close enough for you to check out anyway. Contact me if you want details. Thanks.

MattS, it out of my price range for now. Its nice looking unit.

I looked at that longhorn post, hmm.

I looked at a 68 Chev 1/2 ton today, nah, too much to make it decent.

My brother in law like Chevy Sprints. He thinks I should get one of those in the 90's.
