Do you have a cool Bench seat!?? Lets see photos!!
I need to get my Bench seat done. but I don't know what kind of material will be good to use, or what type of pattern or design will look good.
my truck will be blue and white, so i was thinking blue seat with white race stripes...? if anyone has photos of good look'n seats, it would help with my ideas! I tried searching the forum, I thought people would have asked this question before..if someone knows a link, let me know. Thanks!

Which year bench seat is the "better one". I'm petty sure I remember someone was saying the 70-72 ones are better?

It does the job. I got it from junkyardjohn. I know it's an aftermarket cover, but I have yet to see another color scheme like it

Not installed yet - but a greyish color - Cloth where it counts
Not as nice as some of the ones on here - but I can't complain for the price I paid to have it done

I'm going back to the original!
Not cheap $320, but custom cloth intererior inserts look great and are very comfortable! Cheers Chad

Re: Do you have a cool Bench seat!?? Lets see photos!!
well 70short, I am impressed. When I saw that picture, I thought to myself "Self, that looks almost like tweed, but tweed normally looks like crap... that most certainly does not look like crap, so it must not be tweed!". Or something along those lines. How much was it for the custom work? Did you stay with the stock foam stuff?

Re: Do you have a cool Bench seat!?? Lets see photos!!
I wanted something very simple.
I went with the factory '71 bench covered with some cheap black leather and a single stitch on each side. Had the GMC logo stitched on the center piece before I had it put in. |

Re: Do you have a cool Bench seat!?? Lets see photos!!
i went with the factory-style houndstooth. only took a few hours with new foam (not counting the several days of rebuilding/repainting the frame.)
it's very nice, and the houndstooth breathes well.
