Coil Spring Frame parts anyone?
I have two coil spring frames out back...
One is a 1/2ton cut off behind the front suspension, only real usable stuff left would be trailing arms and crossmember mount for them Other is a 3/4 ton, looks fairly complete with frontend and rear end still under it. Going to cut them up for scrap in the next week or so. Just for pricing..100.00 bucks and less for anything, prefer pickup in Oakdale, Ca.

Re: Coil Spring Frame parts anyone?
I could use the section of frame where the steering box mounts if a 3/4 ton is the same as a 1/2 ton and it was a power steering truck. If you decide to ship that is.

Re: Coil Spring Frame parts anyone?
No issue to ship, but I wouldn't know if its the same as a 1/2 ton or not...my guess though, it that it shouldn't matter whethre pwr steering or manual steering.

Re: Coil Spring Frame parts anyone?
I think there's an indentation for the p/s box that isn't on the manual frame but I'm not positive. Any way you can get a pic and shoot me a price. SHipping would be to 77327, business address.

Re: Coil Spring Frame parts anyone?
That would explain the difference, I hadn't considered it being the wrong year model. I'll pass, more work than I want to get in to. Thanks 5Mike7. And, thanks for the info. Shane.

Re: Coil Spring Frame parts anyone?
They started in 1960. They had a (X) shaped frame in the middle & tortion bar front end instead of front coil springs until 1962. The 63-66 frames are a little different at the front than the 67-72 where the gear box & the bumper mounts

One other question though...are trailing arms and crossmember the same for 67-up?
