Talking Question about Bed Mounting

Ok guys here is the question I have. What does it take to mount a 88-98 bed on a 67 truck? I have a 67 stepside and I want to mount a newer bed on it? Will it bolt right on or do I have to make modifications? Thanks in advance.

Matt

Re: Question about Bed Mounting

Im doing the same thing to my truck now. I have the bed just sitting on the frame right now. You are going to have to make some new brackets for the bed to bolt to because it does line up with the old ones

Re: Question about Bed Mounting

Well I picked up a 1991 stepside bed on Ebay last week and got it home over the weekend. Now I will have the 67 stepside bed for sale. Then comes the side mount gas tank with the new bed. My brother in law has a S-10 pickup. I wonder if that would work with the newer stepside bed?
