Custom Gauge Cluster
Im thinking about making a custom gauge cluster, and was wondering if any of you have done this. Not sure what material i will use yet, but it doesnt seem like it would be very hard todo. If anyone has any pics of any theyve seen or done i would like to see them and how they did it. When i did a search for it all that i could find was aftermarket ones. Thanks for any help guys!

Re: Custom Gauge Cluster
Not what I would actually call "custom", but here are three that I have done. The 1st one is mine, then ones I did for Hartrod and GMan.

Re: Custom Gauge Cluster
Hi Putter, great work! Do you still make them? What do you charge? I like the originals, but those that you made are so much easier to read.

Re: Custom Gauge Cluster
Where'd you find a fuel gauge big enough to fit that center hole?
I ended up using a 2 5/8" gauge with a ring around it, I used some tiny LED indicators in the ring for the high beams, brake, and cruise control. Doesn't look too bad, but a larger gauge would have been easier. |

Re: Custom Gauge Cluster
And here's mine, done with fiberglass to a stock cluster.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...02#post1854202 I just picked up a spare glovebox door and plan on doing the following in metal. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=230639
