Re: Its a long way to the top

Well I bought it pretty much where its at, Ive only had it for a couple months now. I wanted something that wasnt to far gone but that would still challenge me since I plan on keeping the truck forever. But hopefully with the help of you guys I can get it closer to where it needs to be and learn a boat load in the process.

I agree with GREASEMONKEY72 you came to the right place. And I can only wish that my short fleet were in as good of shape as your step. We love to help when needed and love to look at others trucks. It'll be like you want it sooner or later just set realistic goals so you don't burn out you can always set different one's when you attain the one previously set. Sweeeet truck. RJ22

Yes they do.

Say, dogfishguzzler, you're not running a shiny 600 Edelbrock carb on that V8 are you? I am!

Re: Its a long way to the top

I havent even turned the radio on but once since I got the truck but once the sound is done (last) I will take pleasure in jamming that one. As far as the carb Blue67 just a vanilla quadrajet. Ive only had the truck a couple months and my wish list is in the thousands lol. But new spindles and brakes first (even though Im fiending like a crack head for some bowtie heads).

BTW that edelborck sticker was on there when I got it, I dont really dig those stickers especially when the only thing edelbrock on the truck is valve covers and aircleaner Ill be peeling that off since its a cheap "mod" haha
