new pics
Well, I brought the blaze over to the body shop today and took some pics while I was at it. They aren't that exciting, but I wanted some before pics. All he is going to do is fix the rust spots, repaint both sides below the bottom trim, and do some fiberglass work to the hatch. I'll have some more when it comes back. The last pic is of the motor after I got it put back in last fall. Here ya go.

Wow! I love looking at the feathers package. You are keeping them, right? Great looking original blazer.

Re: new pics
Yes, I will definitely being keeping the "feathers" for now. The good news is that they are in pretty good shape, the bad news is that they are not original. I posted alot of this information last year when I bought it, but I'll go over some of it again. The original color is the gold(ish) color that is on the firewall in the engine pic. It is a special order color (not sure what is special about it). Then somewhere along the line, it was repainted white and the decals were put on. It has quite a few options on it such as tilt, posi, a/c, cst, the highlander interior, and manual throttle. It originally had am/fm, but that is long gone. It is basically rust free except for the spots behind the doors and the bottom of the drivers side fender. So far I've rebuilt the motor, new carpet, new shocks, changed all oils and misc. other little stuff. I'll include a couple of old pics for the new guys.
p.s. the last pic is what it looked like when I found it the back of the guys shed. Kage

Re: new pics
Thanks guys, I really enjoy it. This baby was all 70's when I got it. It had shag carpet, a rockin craig sound system and a cb with dual whips. I have a couple questions: 1. what do you think of the rims, should I leave them white or should a paint them silver again? 2. If you notice in the last pic the inside of the hardtop there is wood paneling on the roof. Is this part of a package or was it a job of the p.o. If it is the latter, it is the most amazing job I've ever seen. It even has chrome trim around it. I'll get better pics when it comes back. I know everone loves pics, so I feel it is my duty to do my share.

Re: new pics
Yea, it was carpeted, but it wasn't original. It was made of plywood. Its long gone now. I bought a repop for a gen II blazer so I can have cup holders.
