World cast iron heads...Chamber size unknown to me. Find this out and we can get alot closer and maybe crunch some better #'s. I would venture a educated guess at respectable 425to450 hp depending on quench and better head info. Like I said just a fair stab at this point.

Re: Horsepower estimate???

I had a 383 with the same setup, and it was desk topped at 393hp 430lb ft. I used Sportsman II's. So my guess would be around the same. That cam will be milder in a 400 than a 383. PM Billa, He can do a desk top dyno for you, and he does an awesome job.

Re: Horsepower estimate???

Billla is good with that deck top dyno from what I have heard. 400 will pull a few more ponies but not alot. Get the head info for him though to be more acurate. The came will feel milder but not perform milder.

Re: Horsepower estimate???

The more info you can provide the more acurate the outcome will be. Deck height, head gasket used ect. ect. the more the better.

Re: Horsepower estimate???

I know it is a Mopar site, but the HP calculator there is VERY accurate.
