Help Windshield Question

OK, here is my question!
I have a GMC front window with chrome surround. I want to replace the windshield with a new one and use just the regular rubber instead of rubber with chrome. WHAT DIFFERENCE IS THERE AND CAN I USE THE RUBBER WITHOUT SURROUND ON MY CAB THAT ONCE HAD THE CHROME TRIM?

Re: Help Windshield Question

You have to replace the rubber gasket with a standard ( no trim ) one. That is all you have to do.

Re: Help Windshield Question

Nice looking picture. I am just trying to be cheap because I already have the window rubber without chrome trim.
