Re: Sport Bumper and Tailpipe Pics

I dont remember where I was parked but you drove past me in Saskatoon last week or the week before and your truck looked real good. Did you buy the bumper and center piece locally and where did you get your exhaust done? I've got a sport bumper and ECE hidden hitch ready to go on mine. We'll have to hook up sometime this summer and check out each others trucks. Mine is still in storage. My ring gear and starter piled up in late September just as I was going to store her for the winter so I had her towed to storgae and am facing a 3 to 400.00 repair before I can even drive her this spring.

Already Gone, wasn't my truck you saw in Saskatoon, I know i have seen another black shortbed with white chevrolet letters on the endgate in Stoon. Bought the bumper kit from Scotts when i was in Red Deer a few weeks ago and the exhaust was done by a local shop. Did you check out Draggins today? was thinkin about goin tomorrow if it is any good.

Took in the Draggins last night. Pretty good show and 3 or 4 trucks like ours that I've never seen before.

Re: Sport Bumper and Tailpipe Pics

68wip, Clear taillight lenses are not illegal but in MO you are required to have red reflectors in the rear. PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO PARAGRAPH 3.

Taillamps, reflectors--violations, penalty.
307.075. 1. Every motor vehicle and every motor-drawn vehicle shall be equipped with at least two rear lamps, not less than fifteen inches or more than seventy-two inches above the ground upon which the vehicle stands, which when lighted will exhibit a red light plainly visible from a distance of five hundred feet to the rear. Either such rear lamp or a separate lamp shall be so constructed and placed as to illuminate with a white light the rear registration marker and render it clearly legible from a distance of fifty feet to the rear. When the rear registration marker is illuminated by an electric lamp other than the required rear lamps, all such lamps shall be turned on or off only by the same control switch at all times.

2. Every motorcycle registered in this state, when operated on a highway, shall also carry at the rear, either as part of the rear lamp or separately, at least one approved red reflector, which shall be of such size and characteristics and so maintained as to be visible during the times when lighted lamps are required from all distances within three hundred feet to fifty feet from such vehicle when directly in front of a motor vehicle displaying lawful undimmed headlamps.

3. Every new passenger car, new commercial motor vehicle, motor-drawn vehicle and omnibus with a capacity of more than six passengers registered in this state after January 1, 1966, when operated on a highway, shall also carry at the rear at least two approved red reflectors, at least one at each side, so designed, mounted on the vehicle and maintained as to be visible during the times when lighted lamps are required from all distances within five hundred to fifty feet from such vehicle when directly in front of a motor vehicle displaying lawful undimmed headlamps. Every such reflector shall meet the requirements of this chapter and shall be mounted upon the vehicle at a height not to exceed sixty inches nor less than fifteen inches above the surface upon which the vehicle stands.

4. Any person who knowingly operates a motor vehicle without the lamps required in this section in operable condition is guilty of an infraction.
