disc brakes
I have a 65 truck with 1972 total setup disc brakes. the question is the center drag link is about 1 inch from the front crossmember and the idler arm bracket has been moved toward the back of truck about 1 1/2 inch. I notice on a 72 the center link is almost touching the center crossmember. Does the idler arm bracket need to be relocated for this set up??

Re: disc brakes
Hmm if you moved the idler arm bracket back 1.5 inches, is that to compensate for the pitman arm being 1.5 inches back as well? If not, then I'd think that having the center link being at an angle would screw up your turning geometry.
As long as it's parallel with the crossmember, i'd think that it wouldnt matter how close it is as long as it can't touch. |

Re: disc brakes
l It was not parallel with the pitman arm now it is parallel just did not know if it was right. Before it was hard to steer, one wheel turned before the other
