Just bought a second truck
My brother-in-law sold me a 72 2wd LWB that has a very nice body with nice paint that is pretty well optioned. It is green with a white top. Sorry no pics yet.
He bought it in high school, and was drove it to work one day without oil. He just kept driving it till it wouldn't move any more. Pulled the engine, and put in a 327. When he was getting it running, he neglected to put anti-freeze in, and it subsequently popped the freeze plugs. I have an 350 with AFR heads that I've had sitting in storage for a year waiting for him to decide that he wanted to part with the truck. I'll probably turn around and sell it as soon as I get it running. to help finance my own project. Now I have to get it from Eldorado KS to my place in La Junta CO about 400 miles.
