I would say no,probably have a HARD time finding 8 lug 15" rims,and they may not fit over your brakes.

I have a 67 3/4t, 350-th400, Eaton diff. w/4;57 gears, 8-lug w-16" & 32" commercial tires. I did the 2 1/2 dropped spindles (8-lug !) 1" springs, & 4" drop spring in the rear. I replaced the 16" whls w 17" Weld Coneheads (8-lug) & 28" Continental tires. Messed up the gear ratio !, gas mileage & turning about 3200 @ 55mph !! Now I need to replace the Eatin diff, w/ a Dana and try to get some 3:08 gears to get everything in line again... Not sure if this answers your question ( kinda vague, you are probably running a Dana, just check your gear ratios, or maybe it doesn't matter ), but one thing DOES lead to another. here's the truck. first is before, second is after: -41-

not 2 sure if that helps, but killer 67. I dont think 15" rims will clear the brakes. Found some 35x12.50x15 all terrans and just currious if 15" rims will work. Anyone?

On a 79 3/4 I have 8 lug 15" they are about 33" ar I think. I did not buy they came with the truck.

They will work with the rear fine. Its the front calipers that need a little grinding to get them to fit nice.

15" rims on a 3/4 can be done. I have a 1979 3/4 ton 2wd with 3" drop spindles 2 inch dropped coils and 15" rims with 30x9.5x15 Radial T/a's on the front. The spindle and the brake caliper do need grinding but nothing that will cause problems. The rears fit fine. Actually the only reason I had to grind was because of the offset on my rims and the drop. I've been running this combo for 5 years now no problems just install new brake pads before grinding so the caliper is moved as far outboard as it will ever go. Having said all this my old mans 3/4 uses a set of 15" rims with no grinding and only a 2" set of cut coils but his rims are set further outboard |
