There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
theres quite a few of these trucks. Some were for sale and some were just ppls trucks. They are all with in a month. The guy with the GMC wants to spray can his truck in primer. I told him to keep the Patina look. The white truck is a parts truck I bought.
The green was actually a short bed, 283, oil bath air cleaner 4speed

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
Heres a lowerd 67. The 69 I found last wk. 307 auto, no pwr steering but it had power brakes, aftermarket ac, Only rust was in rockers really. Had a few bumps and bruises his asking 2k price I thought was off but it only had 90K on it. it needed a tuneup, tires and windshield. and wood in bed needed redon.

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
Blackwell may have a few. There was a huge salvage that closed down there a few years ago. A wk before the auction I tried to buy a 67 grille for $65 waited til sat and bought the whole truck for that price. LOL. There was a county truck 67, 250, 4sp, posi track they crushed I was ticked about.
I would think some of those little towns around Wichita would be good for trucks

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
300 bones. It was a 283, 4sp granny low truck. It's had some rust on the floor and the radio was cut out for CD player. They had the title but misplaced it. Not real sure if it would be a good one for that. The rear fenders are in great shape and if someone had a short stepper it would be worth it for those fenders.

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
the price is cheap enough I guess. hard to say by that pic but it kinda sounds like I could fix what I have for the price and trouble of that cab.....Like I said its hard to say without really looking it over.

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
they are around here, but they seem to be hidden pretty well. I passed by a house on the way to work yesteday (Ive been driving this way everyday for about 3 weeks) and I noticed a yellow 67-72 that was hiding behind a big dumpster that was sitting right in the middle of their driveway. I never noticed it before because of the dumpster. The only reason I saw it yesterday was because when i saw the dumpster I though "that is a stupid place for a dumpster". That is because I think they put it there deliberatly to hide the truck.

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
Theres a place in Ark city, KS that would fix all of your cab or exchange one with yours for like $1000 less than 5 years ago.. The body shop is called riverside in Arkansas city about 45min from Wichita. When I went there before he had a couple ready to go.

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
That would be worth it to some of us at times. The cab I have isnt terrible, just the norm for the mid-west. cab corners, rockers, some floor and supports. I have dont these repairs in the past and I have learned that I can and will do it but dont enjoy it much.

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
Wow, Nice thread DavidH. I guess I need to come down to the Guthrie area and look around, I'm only 20 miles away. Seen any '68 stuff?
There is an old bone yard on 177 between Stillwater & Perkins that closed a few years ago. They have a lot of old cars and trucks, a lot of 60's and 70's era stuff. I think the place was called Haupf Auto Salvage. Too bad they are closed. Thompson Salvage in Pawnee has a few 67's with some parts left on them.

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
One gold 70c10. Maybe you can help me with the brakes on my old 67.LOL check out my other thread. I have several of these trucks. I want this one to be a truck I can haul lawn mowers, dirt, gravel, engine parts etc. She's from Tonkawa new. I decided to keep the 6cyl since it seemed in decent shape.

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
I have family in Guthrie, you didn't notice a nice '69 grille in any yards near there did ya? I'm coming up to Guthrie this weekend for Mopar and Chevy parts, my buddy is taking me to a yard in Stillwater before he crushes all the old cars/trucks. I don't recall the name, he is only open Wed-Fri??

Re: There are a lot of 67's in Oklahoma!
So they still are open??? I've seen land for sale signs on their property, so I've been curious, unless they are going to start crushing and clearing.
I've seen some 40's, 50's, and 73 and up trucks, but I've never seen any 67-72.
