door panel swap

new to this , love the site..wanna know has any one used 71 or earliear
door panels on a 72? is it just drilling holes,and are the old ones covered up
from the new panels?

Pretty sure the 72 window cranks are longer than the earlier years, but you may still be able to use the 71 door panels. Someone should be able to tell you for sure.

If you use the '71 panels, your window crank will stick out - ( I tried it). You can replace them with a '70 or 71 crank and it will work fine.
