12 inch sub with bench seats

does anyone have a 12 with the factory bench seats? i have a alpine typr r kickin around from my days when i couldnt afford to run a truck. i dont really want to buy a 10 if i dont have to, and would have another box riged up for behind the seat if it will fit. keep in mind i dont run a sub for the pure bass of having one, its more to round out the system and give the tunes a litle depth.

Re: 12 inch sub with bench seats

i took the sub out of the old box and put it behind the seat. with the seat back it will fit . with the sub angled the right way it will fit well enough for a box. the bow will have to be built around the shelf behind the seat for the best clearance. im going to get ahold of the stereo shop in town to see what they can do for me. with the deck going in the dash and most of the speakers hidden, it should look allright and keep the theives away
