Camaro steering wheel on 67-72
Any of you done this? I have been a fan of these steering wheels for a long time. I just installed one on my 69 SWB. One thing that tripped me up is I could not remember what piece goes below the steering wheel (white plastic thing with a part that contains a spring and plunger that goes through the wheel). Should I use the Camaro part or the original truck part in this location? Thanxs.

Use your original. The camaro (depending on what year) had a lockplate that went on after the horn ring/canceller.

Which Camaro wheel do you have? I have the '69 Comfort Grip in my '70. The 3 polished spokes and black padded rim. I used the plastic piece (horn contact assembly) from the Camaro since it came with the install kit. I used a '69 installation kit, but the '68 would be a better choice because the column is same OD as the truck while the '69 Camaro hup is 1/4" larger than the column. I want two more of these wheels, but at $175 complete will have to wait for a job...
