Are the power steering and alternator brackets the same from a tall deck big block to a regular big block? Thanks, Eric

The alternator brkt mounts to the head (stock location) so in a tall eck its .4" higher up. (my AFR heads are tapped for accesories for what thats worth). Power steering is in the same place on the block (lower driver side).

Thanks tom. So are you saying the alt. bracket will work fine but need a little bit longer belt? Also, the power steering pumps are the same? They look the same, just want to make sure. Thanks, Eric

If they are stock brackets like my '72 the alt, uses the power steering bracket and the head to mount so you would have a problem. Not sure on other years or aftermarket.
