Question Bench Seat

Is there a sure fire way to tell if the bench seat in my 72 K20 is original?

Re: Bench Seat

When I took my bench out to have it upholsterd in about the centre of the back tied to a spring was a card board tag tied to a spring with what appeared to be a part #.

A photo would be nice to see of your bench as this would be helpful.

Re: Bench Seat

This is the only one I have at the moment, and I know that if it is the original, that it has been re-covered. Not sure how much you can tell from it. Is there a certain shot that will tell one way or the other?

Re: Bench Seat

Mine had a build sheet underneath between the foam supports, had all sorts of info about the truck on it. If you havent already, take a look under your seat.
