Re: Chevelle 3/4 length headers ordered
I bet you got thoose from white performance, or on their ebay site. Looks like the motor they have up on their pics. I bought some wire looms from them, the ball mill style. Very good people to deal with and quick shipping.
Question though, why would someone buy chevelle headers for a truck when there are plenty made for trucks? I know they have shorties and full lengths for a truck, but to me thoose 3/4 look like a shorty to me. Any advantage? I mean I guess maybe ground clearance is it? hmm maybe they are a bit longer then shorties, and pretty close to full lengths, if so I understand why. Full length's are better then shorty IMO and if you need ground clearance(and it looks like you do) then 3/4's would be the way to go then huh? Sweet truck man, need to post up pics of the before, during and after though.

Re: Chevelle 3/4 length headers ordered
benoit454,
The headers are from White Performance. I called and ordered them over the phone. I bought the last set they had in stock!!! I can't wait to mount them on the aluminum heads. I'll definately post pictures as I work. The target is to pull the engine and trans on Friday. Clean up and paint start as soon as the motor is out. I'll spend all day Thursday removing the front 91 clip and fenders. |
