Re: so with my brother's K5...that makes the San Antonio area
I hope he doesn't mind me posting this....we'll get better ones once it's hauled over. This is from the ad...I'm a little jealous of how much he's getting it for, considering I paid about 3k more.

It looks pretty nice. Better than when I bought mine for sure! Did he get any spare parts with it?

Re: so with my brother's K5...that makes the San Antonio area
Well it needs a new gas tank and needs to be tuned up. It starts but had a hard time staying on. I think just the usual...plugs/oil/tuning thing will get it going. We'll see.

Re: so with my brother's K5...that makes the San Antonio area
Well Guys, It's Finally Home. I Am The Proud Owner Of A 1972 Chevy Blazer Cst. Thanks To Blizz For Finding It For Me. I Had It Running Last Night For About Twenty Minutes Before It Shut Off. I Saw It Move Under Its Own Power When The Guy Backed It Off The Trailer And Drove It Into The Driveway. I Can't Wait To Get To Work On It. It Has A Lift And Sits On 35's, A 350 Or 305; I Havent Checked It Out Yet. The Front Seats Are Not Origional And The Top Needs A Lot Of Work. I Did Get A Set Of Replacement Floor Pans. Once I Get The Electrical Up To Snuff I'll Take It Over To Blizz's For A Work Day.

Re: so with my brother's K5...that makes the San Antonio area
Noway...I'm first....besides...the (body shop) guy owes me! Yeah, I like that we now have one more...it's gonna be sweet when we all pull into a gas station on the way to the lake. I mean you just don't see these anymore and to see 4 of em in a row is just gonna be awesome. I check craig's list daily...and that one day I found it 20 minutes after the guy posted it. $1,500! Not bad at all huh?

Re: so with my brother's K5...that makes the San Antonio area
Well i got blue thunder running again. I might need to get a starter soon and a carb. The rochester sucks. I drove it in the driveway, but thats about it. All the lights in the dash seem to work fine, even the signal lights. I thought that was pretty cool. I pulled up some of the carpet and found a little rust, but not too much. I even took some off with a grinder. I also ordered the door pins and bushings today. I can't wait to really get into fixing it up.

Welcome to the board Blue Thunder. Am I understanding correctly that the pics Blizz posted are of the Blazer you bought? Gonna be a great project for you I'm sure.

Re: so with my brother's K5...that makes the San Antonio area
Those are probably the sought-after 72 only extreme bend tow hooks. The rarest and most valuable of them all.You will need to subscribe and post a WTB for the sidemarkers
