Is the windshield blacked out?
I like it aside from the rims and I'd like to know how he keeps the engine bay so clean with no inner fenders. |

Re: Here's one for ya
Not my style of rims; maybe a more traditional 5-6 spoke design would fit me instead of the 20-30 spoke design (kind of wire wheel looking), but otherwise I kind of like it.
Oh, definitely lose the tinted windshield. With minor changes, I would roll it, sure.

Re: Here's one for ya
If the truck were dropped on a 20" wheel of a better taste, I'd like the truck.

Re: Here's one for ya
I like parts of it, but not most of it. Why the tiny air filter for the bigblock? It looks like he spent about 10 seconds running the plugwires (so do mine, though...).
I agree that it looks like a trailer queen. Slonaker |

Re: Here's one for ya
I can't pick it apart.
All I would change is the rims/tires and that's easy. . the fact that it's DONE is the main reason i'm jealous.crossy

Re: Here's one for ya
I also thought the air cleaner was too small. Where's the hood? I don't like the wheels either. A set of 17's with a beefy tire would look real nice. Lose the cheesy airbrushed crap on the side in front of the rear wheel wells too.

Re: Here's one for ya
OK, that would have to come off too. Scarface was cool and all but why paint Tony Montana on the side of your truck?
You're right it is really cheesy. |

Re: Here's one for ya
I hate the wheels and I hate the paint. Otherwise I think it's a great truck. If the paint job was simplified and those bling wheels were replaced with a tasteful set of reasonable sized wheels (but still with a large-ish tire diameter) I think I'd really dig it. One thing I hate about most 73-87 2WD trucks is that they get dinky tires that don't fill the wheel wells. This one goes a bit to far in the other direction, but I can still see potential.

Wow, who would think a comment like this would come from someone with a "Git-R-Done" sticker on their car.

Re: Here's one for ya
I can appreciate the detail on the paint work and underhood, and like underhood.
Thooose huge rims suck, I hate that crap. I also don't know why they used expensive billet specialities valve covers and an old cheapo air cleaner/lid from like autozone.

Re: Here's one for ya
I bet this guy really feels good about his truck, I hope he never reads this thread. The more we post this type of thing the sooner we will be like the other forums .... bitter and lacking proper edicate associated with seasoned gear heads. Just MHO.
esll.
