Suspension... Pics anyone? Info! Help!!
Hey everyone, Im starting to build my 69 swb and want to know what you think about a truck that handles great and has horsepower. Should I get four link, ladder bars, or will the trailing arms do fine. Also if some of you can post some pics and info with what they have for ride height(2",3" drop spindles etc.). It is much appreciated, I need somewhere to start.
Thx, Jimmy |

Re: Suspension... Pics anyone? Info! Help!!
Welcome Jim~ I grew up down the road from you in Penngrove and now live over the hill in Winters. Spent countless hours on lake sonoma back in my jet ski days.
I would keep your rear trailing arms set up for sure. It will handle like a nascar! How low do you want to go with your truck? What are your plans for it? This will help us give you a good starting point! Here is a pic of my 71 w/ 2" body drop, 10/12+" of suspention drop (bagged). The second one is of "Low Buck" it was a LWB and now has a 5/7" drop.
