OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
Anyone know this member? I wondered if anyone knew if he was OK as I sent him some money for a deal about two weeks ago and haven't heard from him since and he doesn't appear to have been on here since then.
Thanks Phil

Re: OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
He's been having some health problems recently as I understand and posted on the board about a month ago regarding some cancer issues he's having. Otherwise, I don't know any more than that. Others should be along shortly that know more info and live closer to him.

Re: OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
Lippy, I have Bobs phone # and gave him a call and left him a message for him to hold of you.
He is getting Chemo for his cancer and might be a little on the sick side.

Re: OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
No worries...he was at the Monroe meet this weekend. He's just moving very slowly but still has that great attitude and smile. If he needs some help packaging or whatever I can lend a hand. I have to see his buddy Gil for some wheels and to drop off a tailgate this week.

Re: OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
I wasn't aware he was sick so if you speak to him pass on my best wishes and tell him theres no real hurry for the parts. I just wanted to make sure the money hadn't gone astray on its way across the water. I hope he feels better soon.
I've done little to the truck since my twins were born in January, the little critters sure take up a lot of time, but I'm still gathering parts and making plans. We haven't been to France since we shut the house for the winter in November but we're all heading down there on 3rd July for a whole month, loads of work to do whilst we're there, although the wife will be lounging in the sun with the boys. I've got a new toy to take over with us, its a 1m width of cut power scythe powered by a 5.5hp honda 4 stroke engine. It should make short work of the overgrown bits of our land over there which hasn't been cut for three years. We're then back for August, have the twins baptised early september and then head back for another month whilst the wife is on maternity leave for a year. My new toy ( thats not me btw!)

Re: OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
It may be well Mr Jagger senior in his garden about to murder some daffodils, if he has a modelling career! My land is not quite as manicured, being brambles and bracken up to my chest in places (and I'm 6'3" tall!)
This is the bit that needs cutting but in spring when everything has died back.

Re: OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
All arrived today and didn't even get hit by customs for any money. Thanks for all your help Bob, looks fantastic. Just got to find time in between diapers and feeds to install the thing now.

Re: OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
We've been lucky the last couple of nights, they went to bed at 7pm, woke at 1am for a feed and then again at 7am, bloody marvelous after weeks of 11pm, 3am, 7am feeds. Just had em weighed in today and they're now 9lbs 4oz's and 12lb 9ozs, not bad up from 2lb 3oz and 2lb 9oz since 4th January.

Re: OT: Anyone know Bob Moore
Been there done that. Mine were identical twin girls. I can't tell on yours but if they are identical and one ever gets sick make sure both are checked since the DNA is the same.
