Axle help!

Hey guys, I want to convert my 71' K10 to a K20. I have been looking around for donor axles, and today I found a 1971 K20 custom deluxe at the local scrap yard. The cab is smashed maybe it was rolled? Dont know, but it has corp 10 bolt up front and the eaton in the rear. Would these be good to go to or would a corp 14 bolt and a dana 44-60 be better for parts and such? Can the eaton rear be converted to disk brakes?

Re: Axle help!

the eaton can be converter, and fairly cheap *from what I understand* (never looked at it myself) and if you go the eaton route, I highly recomend the disk due to the insane cost of eaton components.
However, i would say look for a dana or a 14 bolt. Parts are still radily avalible for them... no so with the eaton.

I know nothing about the front diff stuff, but I'm sure someone does and will chime in.
