The 69 Burb
Well we got a 69 Burb the other day (too busy to post then)
We haven't decided what we're gonna do with it yet, but it's pretty cool I wiped the whole thing down with WD-40 & it looks cool (I'll get a pic later |

Re: The 69 Burb
Wow, a burb with an I6. I would think that would be a bit underpowered, but I'm a V8 fan anyway.

Re: The 69 Burb
Cool burb neighbor. Look like yall have a lot of parts around there. Do you have one 6 lug rally to get rid of or know where one in the area is?

This pic threw me off BIG time; I was like, what, is that the parking lot they found it in??? had to scroll back up and look... oh, that's the roof. Cool. @ me. That's not too bad there, one of the trucks I'd love to get my hands on... esp with the barn doors. |

Re: The 69 Burb
To all the rest, about the I-6
It's not gonna be a hotrod if we drive it, so thats no problem (plus a turbo would solve that) I'm pretty sure that it's OG color was green, & it's been repainted blue twice Oh almost forgot, it has a factory Posi-trac |

old timers used to use kerosene on old finishes to clean them up, works good on bad paint

Re: The 69 Burb
Dude, you can cancel your gym membership now cause you're gonna get a workout everytime you drive that thing ... Manual brakes and steering in a burb=no fun to park. I'm sure you'll make it right though.
Sweet find and welcome to the club. |

Re: The 69 Burb
I don't see why a 3 speed 6 popper burb would be underpowered. They have plenty of low end grunt. Power they have, speed, they lack
Looks like a cool ride. I see you have quite the collection started?

Re: The 69 Burb
My Burb has a 292 and it has plenty of power if I want.... but I always say to the rice burners I'm old I'm big I'm slow and I'm in your F-ing way.
Nice project and its going to give you a work out without PS I'm putting PS on mine. |

Re: The 69 Burb
There are some big misconceptions about inline 6's, it's great to see people's eyes when you pop the hood too! Glad you got it running good, can't wait to see the pics and vid when I get home! (the network here at work blocks it)
