Vintage part found...

Alright so it's not that cool, but I was happy to find it at a buddies house in some of his late Father's old stuff. I also found a push on knob of some sort that is the same size and style as our interior knobs. Anybody have any idea what it could go to?

was there a "Lighter delete" option then? Looks like a blanking plug; or a decorative insert for a window crank.

I was thinking the same thing for the windwow crank insert. It looks like one used in the older VW's.
