67 rear ???

my 67 is in the process of being bagged and i have a few questions. of course i have the coil rear. i want to lay out or at least come close. i know i have to ditch the trailing arms. if i get the cpp trailing arms, how much closer will i be? the bags will be mounted further up on the arms and not in the stock location. i also have a 2 inch block. the guy that did the stepnotch and bridge suggested making a custom trailing arm crossmember. has this been done? how did it come out? would the ece dropmember work just as well? i have seen where someone on the board turned there crossmember upside down. did this help?? i'll be running stock steelies with wide whites so the big rim thing isnt a factor. all this work is making me .

Re: 67 rear ???

Sounds like you are on the right track, I too have heard about flipping
the crossmember, but not sure it's needed with ECE's. As for custom type
trailing arms that could be more of a headache than a help. If you have it,
money that is, I'd get the whole rear suspension kit. (Arms & CrossMember)
