It LIVES !!!
Yes , I got the motor fired up today !!! Sounds wicked thru the longtube Hedmans and 3" Flowmaster 40's !!!! The Comp Cams 280H cam has a real nice lope to it . If I can figure the kids camera out I'll try to get a short clip of it running..... I'm so frick'n happy I could jump up and down !!!! Now I gotta finish up the tranny then on to all the other stuff....

Re: It LIVES !!!
I am running a 355 with the Hedman Headers and and a Comp cam as well. I also am useing the Flowmasters 30's under mine with a 3" stainless pipe system to dump the exhaust out so I know just how good it sounds. I have won many shows for best sound and am only running a 268 Comp Cam but its lumpy enough when its ideling as well. Yours sound great.

Re: It LIVES !!!
Man that thing sounds sick . Great job on the motor too. I would be careful having your mufflers that close to the gas line running under your cab, inless your moving the tank or have some other protection for the lines. Maybe there ok, i just always freak out when im working on my truck or a friends and there alot of heat near gas lines.

I think I actually had some "moisture" in my eye while listening to that one. Gonna be dropping in a new 350 very soon and thats the way I want my truck to sound! Execellent truck!

Re: It LIVES !!!
For whatever it's worth.....this is what that comp 280H sounds like in a 460BBC....and for the guy that wanted the burnout.....this is my version. What sucks is the wheel hop without the weight of the bed on it. Last night, after a few beers and the bed on, I lit it up again and grabbed 2nd gear. Can your say "smokin' "......

Re: It LIVES !!!
I used just the standard grade Hedman headers altho they are for the angle plug heads which is the 2nd rarest application of these heads which is a pickup truck instalation. That was according to Hedman themselves.
