front passenger door
front passenger door;
gathering parts for my rebuild (more of a finish up) I noticed my upper hinge was cracked, no biggie, except that I now have figured out why my paint is bubbling off. a metal type filler was used for the inside of the door above the hinge. I don't know how bad it is, it maybe be cheaper to find a new door with no hidden issues. My sub is a "72, my question is will the truck '72 door also fit?? does anyone have a spare door for a price? I will be driving down to the LA hot rod show tomorrow, down the I5. I have an original 3rd seat (white with seat belts and arm rests up for grabs) I will be changing out the complete interior eventually, 1st and 2nd row seats are in good condition but not the original upholstry. armrest are there and all light cream seat belts. all the door panels complete. originil owner painted them light brown and the paint is wearing off. this indcates it won't be hard to remove the rest. metal wood insert and chrome trim in the panels are in good condition. no dents but a little wear (drivers side) there is the odd screw in two of the panels. thanks guys, Al. Re: front passenger door
I am interested in the 3rd seat and and all the white (cream) seatbelts. Pics? price?
Also, looking for some good headliner bows if you have any? Let me know, I'm in anaheim (close to LA). Thanks, Kevin |
