Gen III help

This is my first post, but I've been looking around this site for a couple days. I'm finishing up a 5.3 swap and trying to figure out how I'm going to do a few things.
1) has any body tried to use the gauge cluster out of the donor truck ( if so I'd love some pictures.
2) throttle linkage
3) transmission linkage. Truck was originally a three speed manual. Going to an overdive auto.

thanks for any tips.

Re: Gen III help

I dont have any pictures, but I am using a cluster out of a 04 suburban. I am using a glove box door for it. I am also using a pro stick shifter. My truck was originally a 3 speed as well, now a 4l60e. Post some pictures of your swap. I would like to see and I bet others would to. As for the the throttle linkage, it hooked up no problem. If the truck linkage is too short use the camaro one it is a little longer.

Did you actually mount the gauges into the glove box on the passenger side or did you make a bezel out of an old glove box? I'm using the 4l60e too. I did not see any after market shifters for them in summit or jeggs, I'll call them tonight. Thanks for the replies. I'll post pics soon.

Re: Gen III help

It looks like you are missing the front crossbrace for your frame.
