A true 1 owner 2WD Blazer!
Yep and she still owns it She is 60yrs old and not in great health but loves her blazer. She told me she would think about selling it but not for less than what she has spent on it since 1971 when she ordered it and picked it up ($17,000). She has put over 300,000 miles on the first motor and only about 200 on the rebuilt (same motor just rebuilt, can we say matching #'s) one because that is about the time her health went down hill. It was restored about 9yrs ago and really looks great (for a stocker). It has some cancer she said that was fixed and it all looked good but I did see some small rust stains in the kick panel area but that was about it. Also it is over 100* out right now so I was melting while I was checking it out, I am an overly white boy that does not get along with the sun very well. Any ways just wanted to share some pics with you. I am not interested in buying it but still wanted to check it out for all you guys and for my self!

I have never seen one this stock or this clean. May be I should get it and do a full resto and then try and get my money out of it after Kevin LFD Inc. |

Re: A true 1 owner 2WD Blazer!
That's worth the $17,000 IMO. Full resto and you could probably sell it at Barrett-Jackson for $45,000 .

Re: A true 1 owner 2WD Blazer!
Interesting pictures. I thought I was about the only one left who ordered a 72 back in 71 and still has it. Mines a Jimmy 4X4. Just for info, you can tell she ordered it, not bought off the lot, by the radio antenna. They didn't put radios in any when they shipped for showroom. It was dealer installed, and you got a telescoping antenna. When you ordered one with the radio you got the one piece stainless antenna. Have posted a couple times before, but it never showed up on the thread. May not be doing something right. New here.

Re: A true 1 owner 2WD Blazer!
I've posted a couple times, and they seem to be on the thread. But when I get out of it and go back in. Their's nothing there. Guess I'm doing something wrong, but don't know what. And can't seem to get a message on here to find out what. I Also ordered a 72 in 71 (Jimmy 4X4) and still have mine also. Nice to hear their are so many fans out their of the old beast. New here and still trying to get on.

Re: A true 1 owner 2WD Blazer!
Well, I know its not a for sale thread, nor do I have the 17 large to buy it, but that being said. Where else could you invest $17k and know you could get it back out? I know it is pricey, but ask LUV how much GQ cost, and then figure a new resto would be just that cause they are original only once (I know he said it was resto'd 9 years ago, but I am thinking repaint only?) I just think you could spend $17 on a later model whatever and lose $$$$ to depreciation or buy this and appreciate. I need to go get that 2wd I've been eyeballing!! Not anywhere near as nice, but a good place to start from!!

Re: A true 1 owner 2WD Blazer!
Just realized it was a 2wd (I'm used to seeing them sit alot lower than that)
I'd Luv to have that, it's probably worth alot, I wouldn't give a penny over $10K.
