Greasable Trailing Arm bushings?

I am getting ready to install new polyurethane trailing arm bushings in my 69 short fleet. It seems that I have read somewhere about making these bushings greasable. Since I have heard that poly bushings have a tendency to squeak, should I make them greasable? And if so, how can I do this?

Any help would be appreciated.

EIDT*** I decided that the above might be a bit confusing, I can and will grease the bushings before assembly, what I am wanting to do is to install grease zerks in the outside bushing housings so that I can grease the bushings later.

Is this necessary?

Re: Greasable Trailing Arm bushings?

putting grease fittings in the housings wont do a thing as the bushings dont move in the housing the only movement is the center hole of the bushing around the bolt// just use the silicone grease they give you with the bushings and grease the bolts real well// you should clean the bolts real good before assy by either wirebrushing or blasting

Re: Greasable Trailing Arm bushings?

Thanks for the help, I bought new grade 8 bolts, so bolts and bushings are new.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna have squeaks.
