Trivia/ whatsit question???
What is the area in passenger door sill that is a depression about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, with maybe a 3/8 hole through it? It is at the corresponding location as the Vin/GVW tag on the drivers side.
I can't remember what I took out of that locationj when truck came apart 3 years ago. |

Re: Trivia/ whatsit question???
There is a spring that bolts in the backside. I believe it holds jack parts (handle) maybe? Never had a truck with an original jack. The depression is for the phillips bolt head.

Re: Trivia/ whatsit question???
Mine has a phillips head bolt with a nut on the back side. Must have been part of the jack mounting of something. I know exactly what you are talking about & can take a pic of it if you want.
It holds the hole shut on mine. |
