help please

my brother inlaw has a bad mech fuel pum on his 72 and he dose not know much about them and i got 2 elec fuel pumps off classicchev and one came with his tuneport stuff and one he had on a 72 so its used.

was wonder what the fuel pressure should be at on it and what psi is 2 much as i dont wanna destroy the floats in the carb?


its a 350 with a holly carb as far as a modle could not tell you but the truck is a half ton.

Typically 6-7 PSI.

thanks and now for a nother question
the P.O did a hack job on the truck and pulled the gas tank out from behind the seat and put a tank in the bed of the truck its all bolted in and safe(so they say) and under the cab right below where the 2 rubber groumets are the have the return line the the fuel feed line then they have one that has just been criped off and it a steal line the what i think is the brake line
whats the 3rd line of the bunch and should it be hooked bak up some were?
