Sliding Rear Glass

Does anyone make a kit to replace the felt, or seals in the rear sliding glass? Mine rattle like crazy. The truck would be as quiet as could be if they didn't rattle so bad.

Re: Sliding Rear Glass

I had the same problem. I was told to look around at RV shops, which makes sense. When I got my windshield replaced I asked if they had any molding lying around as I only needed it for the top. No luck. I eventually came across a whole other original slider for cheap. Pulled the felt out and put it in mine. I put the rest of the window up in the rafters as I'm sure I'll need another part or glass from it later on. Good luck, let me know if you find a newer replacement.

Re: Sliding Rear Glass

RV supply would be a good bet.I wonder of Steele Products would carry a channel like that.I wonder if the door window channel could be made to work. There`s got to be a resource that deals in various seal/channel type supplies. The window companies buy from someone.
